He holds the last of the Seven Palantíri of Middle Earth. Gomulous was once an immortal Maia in the service of Mandos although he was seduced by promises of power from Sauron. Sauron taught Gomulous all of his dark magic's and when Sauron was destroyed Gomulous managed to escape the wrath of the King Elessar. Gomulous was charged by the Dark Powers to find the lost silmarils and resurrect the first dark lord Morgoth. He endeavored to do so along with Sheogordriel for many hundreds of years until he found two of the three silmarils. The last silmaril evaded his grasp for a terrible long count of years. He finally discovered that the last silmaril was in the possession of Galadhir at Annúminas. He managed to infiltrate the island city, with the help of Sheogordriel, and extract the Silmaril from the hall of Mallenthammas in Annuminas. With the three Silmarils Gomulous was able to resurrect the dark lord Morgoth. He was betrayed by the dark lord and Sheogordriel. Eventually Gomulous aided the Order of Wizards in the war against Morgoth. When Morgoth was destroyed by the Valar he was granted clemency. When Sheogordriel was destroyed alongside Morgoth, Gomulous mourned her loss and faded into myth and legend.
2. The Dark Lord Sauron-(Maia) Corrupt Maiar and servant of the first dark lord Morgoth. He once made a ring that would give him control over all other rings of power. Morgoth was resurrected by Gomulous and enacted terrible vengeance upon Middle-Earth. He killed Galadhir's queen, Nimue while she rode with Galadhir upon the plains of Dol Amroth. Galadhir challenged Morgoth to combat to seek vengeance for his queen. Morgoth nearly killed Galadhir had it not been for the sacrifice of Radagast the Red. He was eventually defeated by the Valar themselves in the terrible War of Wrath that ended the Age of Wizards in Middle-Earth.
4. Sheogordriel-(Maia) A corrupted Maia that had once been in the service of Mandos. She too was corrupted by the promises of power woven by Sauron the deceiver. When Morgoth was resurrected she aided Morgoth in betraying Gomulous. She was destroyed along with Morgoth by the Valar in the War of Wrath that ended the age of Wizards. Gomulous mourned her loss and faded into myth and legend.
